Monsters Besiege the City, and I Defend It with Martial Arts

I just graduated and took over my grandfather's martial arts school. My first job is fighting strange beasts?

On the night the strange beasts made landfall, Mo Fan rode his motorcycle to No. 2 Middle School to pick up his younger sister, first taking down a gang of punks at the school gate.

That night, back at the supermarket entrance, he ran into the first vanguard beast.

One palm strike, and its core cracked.

The Defense Bureau tracked him down that very night and showed up the next day. "What level are you, martial artist assigned to assist with the defense?"

"Late stage of penetrating force."

The person on the other end was silent for three seconds. "...Report for duty tomorrow."

Mo Fan glanced at the pay sheet, then thought about the martial arts school's expenses and the cost of raising his two younger sisters. "I'm in, but I want more money."

From the school gate to the city gate, every strange beast that came his way was one he would defend against.

But the coastal surveillance cameras had captured more than just one.
