Siheyuan: Master Chef, Joining Lou Xiao'e's Family

Half a jin of pork comes through the gate, and the whole courtyard is scheming, all waiting for Silly Zhu to go soft.

But today, things are different in the steel mill canteen kitchen. His cleaver still falls with the skill of a master chef, but in his heart, a clear ledger has opened. He knows exactly who is scheming and what they're after. Liu Lan stands holding a bowl of food under Deputy Director Li's watchful eye, when suddenly her thoughts take a turn. Her usual "I'll just put up with it" quietly shifts to "Why should I let that bastard keep taking advantage of me?" Even she never expected that one sentence would change the fate of her whole family from then on.

Some at the factory are waiting to see him fall, while people in the courtyard are hoping he'll bring home leftovers again. But He Yuzhu shuts the door and changes the lock. The Silly Zhu whom anyone could push around is now locked out. Knowing how to cook isn't enough. First, he has to learn to keep his intentions hidden, steady his blade, and leave those who are craning their necks to take advantage of him waiting until they start to panic.

The Lou family's dinner table sits empty, and some people at the factory are already getting restless. Tears and schemes alone won't be enough to take advantage of He Yuzhu.
