Wuxia Crossover: A Celestial Master of the Daoist Sect Strikes Tian Boguang Dead with Thunder

On the day the flower thief Tian Boguang was sentenced, everyone thought justice had been served, until his sworn brother leaped forward and shouted, "Spare him!" Linghu Chong insisted that Li Zongxing had killed his brother and demanded an explanation, escalating things from a confrontation with a Huashan disciple all the way to Yue Buqun himself.

Li Zongxing shook out his Taoist robe. He'd struck people down with thunder magic, and now they were chasing him around and cursing him. How was that fair?

He might as well head for Wudang. Zhang the Real Person was celebrating his birthday, and Li Zongxing could borrow a few Taoist scriptures to copy while he was there. That was far more pleasant than dealing with people who never stopped preaching about benevolence and righteousness. On the road, he picked up a little beggar who called herself Huang Rong. She was clever, all right, but she spent far too much of his money.

A martial arts tournament at the foot of Wudang Mountain was the talk of the town. The winner would claim the Nine Yin Manual, and every young martial artist with a name in the jianghu was rushing to compete. Li Zongxing had no interest in martial arts manuals, but trouble kept finding him anyway. Some had their eyes on his money, some on the girl at his side, and others on the thunder magic hidden beneath his Taoist robes. Fine, let them try. The Taoist Celestial Master's banner was just the thing to offer them as sacrifices to Heaven.
