Honkai Impact 3rd: My Instigating Narration Nearly Gets Me Killed by Bronya

He had already prepared an escape route before setting foot on campus, but the sight of Raiden Mei being cornered stopped him in his tracks. An irreverent voice in his head excitedly lists the steps for taking advantage of the situation.

In the Honkai world, getting close to a candidate Herrscher is hardly a romantic choice. But that voice clearly has a serious misunderstanding of what "getting yourself killed" and "winning someone over" mean. It eagerly plans how to add the Herrscher of Thunder, the Herrscher of the Void, and even the future Herrscher of Reason to its list, without considering how many seconds its Host can last with only basic resistance and beginner combat skills.

What's worse, he only just escaped Bronya's ambush last night, and now he has to face Raiden Mei. The thing that calls itself a narrator is urging him to seize the "opportunity fate has given him," as if it has forgotten he might not even survive breaking through a regular swarm of Honkai Beasts.

If he turns around and leaves now, he might still get out of Nagazora City before disaster truly strikes. But every second he stays pushes the odds of dying higher. And that nonsensical narrator has apparently already chosen the hardest path for him.
