Pokemon: I Just Got a Duraludon, and It Evolves into the Light of Retribution

On the first day after transmigrating, Shidou took over a failing Fighting-type Gym in Saffron City. The previous Gym Leader, Xinyan, had been mentally crushed by Sabrina's Psychic-type Pokemon and had run off, leaving behind a bunch of Machop. The League would come to check his qualifications in seven days. He had nothing but these ragtag fighters, yet the System let him draw a Starter Pokemon. When the light faded, it wasn't a Riolu or a Kubfu standing on the field, but a little emerald-green mantis named Darr. It came from Seer, and was an early-stage Incarus from Kalos.

Darr was level eighteen, with base stats of 330. Its Sharp passive added 50 percent to its slashing damage, while Consecutive Slash stacked and its 110-power Ice World could freeze foes solid. Machop got pummeled five times a day, and Scyther's arms went numb from clashing blades with it. When Xun Zi asked why it was so unusual, Shidou replied, "It's called Darr, and it's much stronger than Scyther."

On Piplup TV, Wobbuffet's Shadow Tag sealed in Ninetales, Garchomp's Fire Blast instantly took out Leafeon, and a sliver-of-health Guoshen used Destiny Bond to take a full-health Ninetales down with it. The chat exploded, the Gym gained three thousand followers, and he got a Life Orb. When Xun Zi asked for his contact information, he stared at the Bellsprout behind her. Light of Retribution was the real thing capable of leaving Arceus reeling.
