American Comics: Becoming a Ghost, Wielding Heroic Spirit Eye-Soul Transformations

Xiuka transmigrates into the body of a Chinese American in Queens, New York. Penniless and unable to speak the language, he is rescued by Ben Parker, who feeds him a plate of pork pies. That night, three thugs try to rob him. He grabs two pieces of water pipe and knocks them all down, then takes all their cash.

Late at night, the Great Eye appears and tells Xiuka that his body has died, leaving him in a ghostly state. Just as his soul is about to vanish, he steps on Arash's Eyecon. The Ghost Driver automatically binds to him, and a flash of orange-red light unlocks his first form.

By day, Xiuka is a Chinese American exchange student. By night, he becomes a Ghost Rider, using Arash's shooting star to blast street scum to pieces. After Sasaki Kojiro's Swallow Return slash splits his soul, Xiuka draws a crimson bow on a rooftop in the dead of night, while Spider-Man is still wondering whether he should save someone.

A System prompt appears: Current Heroic Spirit Eyecon: Arash. Form unlocked: My Soul. Next target: Sasaki Kojiro.

Xiuka looks down at the swordsman's Eyecon that has just peeled away from the old doorman's body, and grins. "I've got Swallow Return now. Next time I see that purple-skinned, green-headed freak, can I chop him into three pieces?"
