Seafaring: A Blind Man's Observation Haki Gets Me Accused of Peeping on Nami

The bamboo screen at the women's hot spring bath shattered with a crash, and Nami's scream instantly tore through the inn's quiet. When everyone came running, they found Kai standing alone on the path leading to the women's bath. The real intruder had already vanished around the corner. Usopp berated him, Zoro scrutinized him, and Nami accused him through tears. Every piece of evidence pointed to Kai, and he had no way to defend himself.

He tried to explain that he had only gotten up to investigate a strange noise, but his friends brought up all the times he'd made uncannily accurate predictions and dodged attacks in advance. They challenged him: How could someone who sensed storms, caught drifting grass, and read an enemy's movements possibly fail to see? His extraordinary abilities had now become irrefutable proof against him.

Only when Kai raised his face and calmly said, "I can't see at all," did the courtyard fall completely silent. Sanji clenched his fists behind the crowd. He knew who the real culprit was. To prove his innocence, Kai had no choice but to let the friends who once relied on him see for themselves that he truly was blind. After their trust collapsed, he lost more than his good name: he lost the one place he'd finally found where he belonged.
