War of Resistance: German-Equipped Platoon, Ambushing a Japanese POW Camp

Zhou Yan transmigrates into Bright Sword as the commander of the New First Regiment's First Company. After the bloody battle at Cangyun Ridge, only 50 men remain in his company. Li Yunlong swears that if Zhou Yan can't raise it to a reinforced regiment within six months, he'll have his head. Just after leaving camp, Zhou Yan runs into the bandit stronghold of Xie Baoqing at Black Cloud Mountain.

The god-tier choice System immediately pops up: suppress the bandits and receive five German mortars. With the soul of a special forces soldier and modern tactics, he divides his German-equipped reinforced platoon into three-man teams. Fifty men raid a den of 600 bandits at night, using suppressive fire and crossfire ambushes. They break through two gates in 20 minutes, and Xie Baoqing is shot dead as he tries to flee on a sled. The Black Cloud Mountain granary is packed with the people's hard-earned grain, and there are even iron and copper mines hidden behind the mountain. The ramshackle stronghold is turned straight into the company's new base, its defenses rebuilt on a bastion system. Even a Japanese battalion would break its teeth trying to take it.

Before they can catch their breath, a scout brings news: Wei Monk and more than 100 Nationalist soldiers are being held at the Phoenix Mountain prisoner-of-war camp. The System offers three choices again: rescue the monk and get five Kar98k sniper rifles, or rescue all the prisoners and get 300 crates of M24 grenades. Zhou Yan looks at the map and grins. "I'll take everything."
