Film and TV: Loyalty Panel, Winning Over Lei Luo to Build a Financial Empire

Wu Shiyao transmigrates to Hong Kong in 1950 and becomes the elder brother of the legendary crippled gangster Wu Shihao. The six of them are crammed into a cage house, starving until their ribs show. The System presents his beginner's gift pack: MMA, Bajiquan, firearms mastery, the Thousand-Faced Hand, a physique of 15, and agility of 20. That very night, two gangs clash below the Grand Hotel. He charges in alone and beats the Xinyian boss, Big Grizzly, into coughing blood and passing out with a single combo. Lei Luo watches the whole scene from a rooftop, then turns to Chu Yiu-kuk. "Keep a close eye on him. Our good days are coming." When Hunter and his men try to corner him, Wu slams Hunter onto the bus floor and locks him up with a guillotine choke until his eyes roll back. The System issues an A-rank mission: eliminate Fat Chiu, reward: 33 shops on Wenham Street in Central.

Lying in a cell at the Central Police Station, Wu Shiyao stares at the ceiling, a smile slowly spreading across his face. "You may rule the straight world, but I call the shots in the shadows? No. I'm going to be everyone's boss." Lei Luo passes him a cigarette through the bars. "What's your name?" Wu takes it and puts it between his lips. "Your future partner."

Outside the window, Hong Kong blazes with lights. The next line appears on the System interface: 33 shops left to build a financial empire.
