Back to Field: I Unlock King Kong from the Start and Guard a Beast Sanctuary in the Mountains

When season three of Back to Field arrived in Wengcao Village in western Hunan, Dilireba and Cai Xukun had barely started up the hill behind the village when they encountered a real tiger. Just as it lunged at Cai Xukun, a five- or six-meter-tall silverback gorilla dropped from the sky and punched the beast eight meters away. It was King Kong, raised by Ye Chen and nicknamed Xiao Er.

That night, Dilireba sneaked off to the zoo. At the entrance, Xiao Er stopped her and scanned her for a thousand yuan. Then the aroma of Ye Chen's barbecue lured her into the pavilion, and she eventually paid five hundred yuan for the privilege of petting King Kong. For Ye Chen, though, this was only the beginning. He had bonded with the Divine Zoo System, which set admission at a mandatory thousand yuan. Every ticket sold earned him points that he could use to unlock exotic beast bloodlines for his animals.

When the entire production crew came to visit the next day, Xiao Er was carrying lumber to repair the fence, then holding up a sign that read "Admission: 1,000 yuan" and blocking the entrance to collect the fees. Huang Lei was stunned, He Jiong gaped, and the livestream audience went wild. Meanwhile, Ye Chen stood in the pavilion, watching his account balance slowly climb.
