I Can Hear Antiques Talk While Livestreaming Appraisals

Gu Chuan, a warehouse inventory clerk, is framed by an antiques shop owner for breaking a fake artifact. A million viewers in the livestream are waiting to see him accept an 800,000-yuan bill for damages. Just as he's forced to sign an IOU, a broken piece of porcelain suddenly speaks: I came out of the kiln just nine days ago. The mark on my base was engraved by laser. From then on, while everyone else appraises antiques by their glaze, clay body, and provenance, Gu Chuan can hear the last words left behind by old objects. Swapped museum pieces, account books sunk at the bottom of a river, missing-person lists hidden inside an old clock: every scam he exposes brings him one step closer to the truth behind his father's disappearance. Until a bronze statue returned from overseas says to him: Don't let them know you can hear us.
