Anime Crossover: Affection Goes the Wrong Way, Yukino Breaks Down

After Hoshino Ken binds to the Romance System, raising a girl's affection lets him draw skills. He finds Saki Toyokawa breaking down in the rain, gives her an umbrella and his coat, and gets Music Theory LV1. On the rooftop, he teases Yukino Yukinoshita. They trade barbs over his line, "You're a monkey in heat too," and her affection goes up instead of down, unlocking the special skill Sensitivity. His childhood friend Eriri waits for him every day with snacks, but her affection is stuck at 79 and won't budge. Hoshino Ken quietly activates a skill, and the girl goes bright red and runs to the bathroom to cool off for ten minutes.

Sora Kasugano nestles in his arms and rubs against his thigh. Yukino Yukinoshita snipes at him but seriously discusses The Plum in the Golden Vase. Saki Toyokawa lowers her head and counts the last two months of living expenses in her wallet. Mana Sumita forcibly tears off his second button. "You won't make it to the graduation ceremony, will you? This one's mine!"

Hoshino Ken changes his shoes in the entryway, and three update notifications pop up on the System screen: Affection +1, Affection +1, Affection +1. He looks down, reties his shoelaces, and says softly:

"It's not like I went after them. They're the ones who insist on sticking to me."
