Kamen Rider: From the Start, I Have the Five Elemental Light-and-Shadow Stones

Li Xuan transmigrated into the world of Kamen Rider 555, an undocumented outsider from the start, and was taken in as an apprentice by ramen shop owner Nakayama Hiroto. Five elemental Shadow Stones lay dormant inside him, impossible to activate. Then Nakayama Hiroto suddenly went abroad, giving Li Xuan the shop and the house. As he left, his palm crumbled into sand: the old man was an Orphnoch and didn't have long to live.

Lost on a snowy night, Li Xuan found an unconscious high school girl at the corner of a stairwell. The moment he picked her up, the Shadow Stones inside him stirred back to life. The key to activating them was Orphnochs. And this girl was none other than the tragic monster girl from the show, Yuka Osada.

Li Xuan knew how her story ended: bullied, awakened, driven to kill, and reduced to grains of sand. But right now, she was still afraid and confused, not knowing what she had become. He cooked her noodles, laid out a blanket, and told her good night. What this girl needed wasn't a moral judgment, but somewhere that could catch her when she fell.

The bespectacled man from Smart Brain was already keeping an eye on him, and the five elemental Shadow Stones still weren't fully activated. But as Li Xuan watched Yuka Osada sleeping peacefully in bed, for the first time he felt that maybe this screwed-up world wasn't quite so hopeless after all.
