Great Han: Opening a Teahouse in Chang'an and Winning Emperor Wu Over!

In the second year of Jianyuan, at the Leyifang district of Chang'an, history whiz Li Xuan waits for his System to awaken in an unremarkable little teahouse.

Two regulars visit every day. Xiao Liu is generous with his money, while Xiao Wei is quiet and reserved. They snack and drink tea, but keep asking questions that could cost a man his life: "How can His Majesty win the favor of Empress Dowager Dou?" "Which of the Hundred Schools is best suited to governing the country?" "When would be the best time to attack the Xiongnu?"

Li Xuan is fed up. They think two strings of wuzhu coins can buy the governing strategies of Emperor Wu of Han?

Then, on the day the System activates and he draws an appointment to office, Xiao Liu leans over and whispers, "Shopkeeper, I'll come clean. I am Liu Che."

The teacup nearly slips from Li Xuan's hands. He looks down and sees three gold ingots on the low table. Xiao Wei, no, Wei Qing, is struggling to hide his amusement. And the young man across from him, who comes by every day to mooch cake and whose shoulder Li Xuan has patted, is the Emperor of Han himself.

Even more absurdly, the things he casually said about "Confucianism replacing Huang-Lao thought" and "Empress Dowager Dou will surely make trouble" have all come true. Now Liu Che is eagerly begging him for advice on ruling the realm. Li Xuan can only sigh: if he'd known, he should have charged more for the tea.
