Bright Sword: Maxing Out Zhan Xiage, Sweeping the Japanese Invaders from Northern Shanxi

An independent platoon, fewer than thirty men, has made a fearsome name for itself across northwestern Shanxi. Zhang Wei has just led his men in wiping out a Japanese stronghold and annihilating an entire Japanese squad. Their spoils are piled high, and even their regiment commander, Old Li, has come over for a drink. But before the battlefield has even gone cold, the new commander, Ding Wei, is slapping the table and demanding men. Li Yunlong would rather give up an entire cavalry battalion than let Zhang Wei go.

Only Zhang Wei knows that all this glory is thanks to the System. With the Solo Combat Boost from Zhanxiage, he can kick a wild boar flying and pick off Japanese machine gunners with every shot. But his training and stamina cards are only temporary. The winters in northwestern Shanxi are cold enough to freeze your ears off, hundreds of pounds of wild boar meat vanish in no time, and every bullet fired means one less in the supply.

The Japanese aren't sitting idle, either. Aono Sawa glares furiously at the map of the stronghold that was wiped out. An entire fully equipped squad has been annihilated, and someone even rode off on their motorcycle. He can't let that go. Worse still, the System has just issued a new mission, clearly stating: sweep the Japanese forces out of northern Shanxi, and finish within the time limit. Zhang Wei grips the list of equipment in the points shop, knowing he doesn't have much time left.
