Yu-Gi-Oh!: Sweeping Duel Academy with a Simulator!

Jaden, along with his Deck, was sent into a duel simulator. Destination: the 2022 OCG format.

Starting from the start with a HERO Deck, he confidently played Elemental HERO Avian, ready to teach modern duelists a lesson with Flame Wingman. His opponent immediately threw down Maxx 'C' and Dimension Shifter. He froze for two seconds, then came up with a genius strategy: "If I don't Special Summon, then hand traps are useless, right?" He Normal Summoned Avian, left his back row empty, and ended his turn. The onlookers fell silent as a group. Someone quietly asked if this guy had transmigrated from 2004.

After getting beaten up by Floowandereeze and Tearlaments in turn, Jaden finally got the hang of things. On the essay question of his exam, he enthusiastically laid out his ideas for a best-of-three match format and swapping cards with the Side Deck. The proctor frowned as he read it. Professor Crowler looked over Jaden's written exam results and decided to take the field himself as the practical examiner: "I'll show him the most direct way that duels aren't won by rolling dice." Jaden looked at the three new HERO cards he'd just received and grinned. The true hero was only just about to make his entrance.
