One Piece: Time-Stop Stand, My Hard Training Amazes Fullbody

In the Marine mess hall in Shells Town, Luo Ya was bent over, tearing into a bone-in cut of meat. The veterans at the next table were still making fun of the fresh recruit, until the afternoon training session. The new guy named Luo Ya ran twenty laps in twelve minutes, then went looking for Linus, known as Iron Hand. Three punches and kicks later, the veteran was on his way to the infirmary.

From that day on, daily life at Branch 153 changed. During free training time, everyone avoided the new recruit with black hair tied into a little braid. But Luo Ya could always find his next target, offering antidiarrheal medicine or a bandage and cheerfully asking, "How about a spar, senior?" Fullbody hid in a corner smoking, watching the junior he had personally trained beat up every veteran on base. He silently stubbed out his cigarette. Tomorrow, it would be his turn to take a beating.

Looking at the Marines sprawled across the training ground, Luo De unfolded a map. "We need to send this kid out on a mission. If he stays here any longer, there won't be anyone left to stand guard at the branch." Luo Ya carried his wooden sword toward his next victim, his eyes shining. The more combat experience, the better.
