War of Resistance: Kill Enemies for Gear, Storm Blockhouses Without a Scratch!

Li Minghua transmigrates into the world of Bright Sword, bringing along a cheat that grants equipment drops for every kill. From the start, he pries 12 veteran soldiers away from Li Yunlong and immediately equips them with new uniforms, nearly new Type 38 rifles, and ammunition. The villagers, envious of them, sign up by the dozen.

The unit doubles in size in no time, and all their supplies come from killing enemies.

Twenty days later, he leads 50 men to attack a Japanese pillbox. Homemade shields hold off Type 92 heavy machine-gun fire, while 36 rounds from grenade dischargers pound the pillbox in a continuous barrage, bringing it crashing down. The System floods the screen with notifications: Killed a Japanese second lieutenant, dropped one 60 mm mortar and 70 shells. Killed a squad leader, dropped one Type 92 heavy machine gun and 2,000 rounds. Killed 15 puppet troops, dropped seven Type 38 rifles and eight Hanyang rifles.

The Independent Platoon's soldiers stare at the pile of heavy weapons in disbelief. "Platoon leader, the Japanese had artillery. Why didn't they use it?" Li Minghua waves a hand. "They're all dead. Who are you going to ask?"

As Li Minghua pushes a wheelbarrow of heavy machine guns to headquarters, Li Yunlong is still fretting over his two light machine guns. When Zhao Gang reports for duty, he is stunned by the yard full of new equipment and asks where it came from. Li Yunlong grins. "That kid said he owed me 30 rifles, but he showed up with an entire arsenal."
