Hong Kong Crossover: The Intelligence Detective Who Recruits Mad Dog Cops!

Gao Ren binds to an Intelligence System that provides three crucial leads every day. Solving cases and making arrests earns him skill points. He receives the Silver Flute Medal and graduates as a probationary inspector, but Huang Zhicheng wants to recruit him as an undercover cop.

"Three years, then three more? Chen Yongren can do it. I need to stay in uniform." Gao Ren straightens his tie, then commits the latest intelligence from the System to memory: Ah Wu, the top enforcer for the Wo Shing Wo gang in Mong Kok, is looking for a boss willing to spend big.

At the Anti-Triad Unit of Seven Star Street Police Station, on his first day on the job, Ma Jun stands against the wall. His file contains three hundred complaint letters, all for beating people up. Gao Ren takes off his uniform and drapes it over the chair. "I hear nobody in Kowloon can beat you. If you can stay on your feet for five moves, this office is yours to run." After one punch, Ma Jun gets back up, bracing himself against the wall. His expression has changed.

That night, Ah Wu and thirty-five of his men switch sides. Gao Ren puts Kong Sang in the position of bar's legal representative. Before Mong Kok's neon lights have even fully come on, he's already checking the third lead the System has just given him: Hung Tai is going to slaughter the Night Owl tonight. Gao Ren closes the panel and calls Ma Jun. "Get the men. We've got work to do."
