The Three-Body Problem: Becoming the Honkai God, the Herrschers Balance the Three-Body Problem

Liu Wei transmigrates into the world of The Three-Body Problem with a Herrscher of the Void divine core. He lives to the age of eighty-four, then dies full of hatred after the United Nations secretly injects him with HIV during an experiment.

The Holy Body, Otto Apocalypse, awakens. "I gave you one chance. You killed the man who wanted to save civilization with your own hands." During the Deterrence Era, Cheng Xin takes over as Swordholder. The droplets destroy every gravitational-wave transmitter, and the Dark Forest collapses. Otto descends upon Control Station Zero and crowns Cheng Xin with the authority of the Herrscher of Reason. "I grant you wisdom, making you the King of Truth."

Cheng Xin uses the Herrscher of Reason's power to withstand a droplet impact. Millions die in the ensuing earthquakes, and Wade demands to know whether she understands how many people she has just killed. Cheng Xin kneels amid the ruins. "I only wanted to save people..." As the 415 trajectories of the Trisolaran Second Fleet streak across the nebula, the Sophons announce that the Trisolarans will ally with humanity to fight the Honkai. Standing at the United Nations podium in blue and white Herrscher attire, Cheng Xin declares, "I will protect humanity as one of its own." Deep in imaginary space, Otto is hoeing the earth to plant a tree. He looks up into the distance. "The day this tree grows tall will be the day the Honkai truly arrives."
