Hong Kong Film Kingpin: Summoning the Tianyang Seven to Back Me Up from the Start

After transmigrating to Hong Kong in the 1980s, Huo Wenyao becomes the lowest-ranking 49er in Hung Hing, with Chan Ho-nam above him and no chance to rise.

Then one night, his System activates. From the start, he gets a Summoning Card. The Seven Tian Yang brothers, seven mercenaries who fought their way back from the battlefield, appear before him out of thin air. Their loyalty is absolute, and they obey every command.

At the Causeway Bay bathhouse, Tung Sing’s Golden-Haired Tiger, Sa Meng, leads his men onto Hung Hing turf. Huo Wenyao walks through the door with only Tian Yang Sheng by his side. Three punches, and Sa Meng’s facial bones shatter, leaving him in a vegetative state. Huo Wenyao’s name spreads through Hong Kong’s underworld overnight.

Big B sends him to Tsim Sha Tsui East to collect a debt from White-Headed Duan Kun, hoping to use him as a weapon to kill. Huo Wenyao and the Seven Tian Yang brothers roll straight through. Five men against three hundred. Their Tang swords are battered blunt, and the bloodied dragons across their shoulders gleam beneath the moonlight. Duan Kun’s entire fortune is swallowed up, and two streets change hands.

At the Hung Hing meeting, the position of boss of Kowloon Walled City is left vacant, and not one of the twelve branch leaders dares to take it. Standing behind Big B, Huo Wenyao smiles faintly. Just as he hoped. That lawless no-man’s-land is the true starting point of his rise. The Seven Tian Yang brothers stand behind him, their blades ready.
