Film and TV: Princes Across the Myriad Worlds, Scheming for the Throne!

Li Xiu died saving someone and, after death, was bound to the Heavenly Dao Alliance System. It tossed him into the world of Joy of Life, where he became Emperor Qing's third son, a new prince who didn't exist in the original story at all.

From the start, he was caught up in a palace coup. One of the personal maids attending his mother tried to steal him away, while another tried to stab him to death on the spot. After narrowly escaping with his life, the first thing Li Xiu did was make a request of the System: he had to learn martial arts. If he wanted to live, he needed to strive for Grandmaster status.

Emperor Qing treated him as a whetstone, while the Crown Prince and his second brother kept him from entering the game. Li Xiu practiced swordsmanship in seclusion at Yuxiu Palace while having his System guards earn military merit at the frontier. During the imperial examinations, he met a sixty-five-year-old scholar outside his own restaurant. The old man said he hadn't come to take the exams to become an official. He wanted to test himself against this rotten system. Li Xiu poured him a cup of wine and said nothing.

The currents beneath the palace had yet to run their course, but the System had already brought up its next world: The Story of Minglan. Li Xiu glanced down at the newly refreshed prince identity card on his screen. This was his path to power across the myriad worlds.
