Reviewing Historical Short Videos: From the Start, Roasting Qin Shi Huang

Li Fan is so broke he can't pay rent when a new app suddenly appears on his phone, one he can't delete: "Multiverse Short Video Sharing Device." He watches videos on his end, and they play simultaneously in the skies above every dynasty.

From the start, he casually clicks on a video and watches all five thousand years of Chinese history in one go. Ying Zheng has just been crowned "Emperor of the Ages" by a full-screen barrage of comments, and the corners of his mouth have barely lifted when the next frame tells him that the Qin dynasty will fall after just two generations, lasting a total of fourteen years. The First Emperor immediately beats Hu Hai half to death and has Zhao Gao dragged off to be dismembered.

Li Shimin is basking in the glory of being called the "Heavenly Khan" when the scene changes: Wu Zetian deposes his Tang dynasty and renames it Zhou. After watching Li Zhi not only fail to stop her, but even help hand over the imperial seal, Li Er's blood pressure shoots through the roof: "You slept with My concubine and then let her steal My empire?"

When Zhu Yuanzhang sees Zhu Di wearing an imperial robe and sitting in the Hall of Supreme Harmony, with the era name Yongle, his head starts to buzz. "Fourth, why are you wearing My clothes? Get over here!"

The sky screen sends every dynasty into an uproar. On the other end, rewards from Li Fan's System keep pouring in with every shift in emotion. The more the ancients lose their composure, the more he profits.
