Bright Sword: An A-Team Special Forces Soldier, Slaying Japanese Invaders to Earn Divine Merit

Qin Yangming lay prone on the ridge, watching the Japanese Special Forces' route through his four-power scope with perfect clarity. He nearly laughed in disbelief. This was it? And they called themselves elite troops? Back when he trained rookies at Old A, their passing grade for infiltration was two whole levels higher than this. He casually picked out the recruit with the best aim and pointed to the commander below, whose uniform bore an officer's sword. “See him? Shoot that one.”

Zhang Dabiao carried the newly captured Type 92 heavy machine gun and grinned at Li Yunlong. “Regimental Commander, this isn't a battle. Company Commander Qin is giving Yamamoto a lesson!” Li Yunlong glared at him. “Enough talk. Get the cooks to start stewing the meat! Anyone who doesn't strip Yamamoto of every last thing he's got today isn't leaving the table!”

Gunfire erupted in the distance. Duan Peng and his second platoon had sealed off the Special Forces' escape route. Yamamoto Kazuki finally realized that he wasn't the one hunting his prey. Someone was using him for target practice.

Li Yunlong grabbed the phone and shouted at headquarters, “Brigade Commander! My new First Regiment hasn't even seen action yet, and that bastard Yamamoto has come right to our doorstep! Just tell me, are you going to let me give them a proper beating or not?”
