Special Forces: Transmigrate as a Recruit and Join the First Armored Company

New recruit Lu Nan enters Armored Company One full of anticipation, only to be met by Squad Leader Lao Pao's cold stare and constant harassment. The top recruit from boot camp is brought back down to earth, and even his attempts to maintain the tanks are dismissed as clumsy.

Worse still, there's the oddball in the company who wears glasses, Xu Ping. He keeps going on about the Gulf War and information warfare, insisting that tanks will be completely useless on future battlefields. It sounds like a wild fantasy, but somehow it shakes the deeply rooted convictions of a whole company of veterans. The clash between old and new ideas in this company of steel and sweat is more suffocating than a five-kilometer cross-country run on the training grounds.

But this is, after all, Armored Company One of the "Great Merit Regiment," the place closest to combat in peacetime. A combat readiness alarm could sound at any moment. When the steel beasts roar toward the training ground, Lu Nan must prove himself in the cramped, scorching interior of a tank, and do it fast. He's not here to watch from the sidelines. He intends to take the controls himself and show those who look down on him what a true armored vanguard can do.
