The Seventh-Day Survivor

The protagonist is no ordinary "actor." He is a struggling web-novel author from the real world who unexpectedly transmigrates into the world of his own unfinished, Lovecraftian novel with its botched ending. He discovers that he has become a disposable character who is sacrificed to an evil god by its followers right at the beginning. But what he brings with him is not the original plot. It is the "creator's dashboard" behind the novel: an outline of the original story that he can revise at any time. Even more terrifying, he discovers that the world inside the book is "alive." It can fill in the gaps in its own logic, while the Old Gods, the "readers" deep within the world, comment on the plot. Every time the protagonist "plays a role," he is actually using his actions to "write" a new chapter and please the "readers."
