Seven-Colored Star

Do you care about me??...

Xingxing is an actor who dreams of taking his career to new heights, winning an Academy Award for Lifetime Achievement, and becoming a successful and charitable person like Jet Li.

Caicai is autistic and attends the same support program as Xingxing's younger brother, Dafu. Xingxing feels a special connection with Caicai, but doesn't dare date her because she is still receiving welfare benefits.

Xingxing has acted in many well-received dramas, especially the TV series Even When You Cry, You Must Keep Running, which was a huge hit. By playing the lead, Xingxing gradually came to understand something: Life never goes smoothly. You have to fight for everything yourself. Many of life's knots aren't really your own limitations, but a kind of deliberate pity. He doesn't know who gives or causes this pity, but what he learned from the drama is that there's often no reason to be pessimistic about the ending. Confidence doesn't matter, because you are who you are, and no one else can give you what you don't have.

Xiaoke, the screenwriter, falls in love with Xingxing. He is afraid, because although Xiaoke is intellectually advanced, he can't feel her warmth in his heart.

But Caicai is different. She shines so brightly.
