Time Reversed: A Great Statesman

Time has reversed across the globe. Everyone knows how the apocalypse ends, but the events leading up to it remain a mystery. While experts in every country are stumped and their leaders despair, Shen Linmo, newly awakened, just smiles.

With his memories as a counterintelligence agent awakened, I use "underhanded" tactics to become a top-tier national adviser.

I harness another country's volcanoes to avert disasters at home, and use future scandals to shut foreign politicians up. General Li Zhengguo grips my hand: "Sir, that was... brilliant! Though it does rather screw over our neighbors!"

I thought this was just a simple matter of living life in reverse, until a garbled message appeared before my eyes: Observer Log: Reverse-sequence individual detected. Initiating termination protocol...

Me: "???" These days, do you have to worry about heaven flipping the table when you're saving your country?
