The Scarlet Flame Throne

Geologist Ryan accidentally triggers a mechanism while surveying a dormant volcano and plunges into the legendary Flame City. To his shock, the people there call him the "exiled prince" and reveal that he is the heir who was sent away during a royal rebellion twenty years ago.

Torn between resistance and confusion, Ryan gradually accepts his identity, learns to control the power of fire, and takes command of his personal dragon mount, Ashwing. As he investigates the truth behind the rebellion, he discovers that its leader was an old friend of his father, driven by fear that "Flame City's energy reserves were running out." An energy company on the surface detects unusual volcanic activity and begins drilling into the volcano, causing crises to erupt both inside and out. Ryan must unite the factions of Flame City while facing the threat of an invasion from the surface world...
