The Poison Strategist's Legacy

Xie Yulin was hailed as a peerless schemer, yet his sovereign ended his life with a cup of poisoned wine. When he opens his eyes again, he finds that the Asgardian Empire, whose technology is three hundred years ahead of his homeland, has resurrected him. The emperor of the empire sneers down at him: "Your schemes are nothing but tricks from a backwater native."

The court officials all think he is a poor wretch from a barbaric land. But Xie Yulin lowers his eyes and bows his head, offering his first strategy: "I have a grand strategy that can help Your Majesty achieve universal harmony within three months."

He opens academies, introduces performance-based evaluations, and advocates equality. The entire empire cheers, "Master Xie is wise!" Only the emperor turns pale at the sight of a mecha corps demanding higher pay and officials shouting for human rights. "Xie Yulin! What have you done?!"

Meanwhile, Xie Yulin is earnestly instructing a peerless genius sent by the emperor to "learn": "Remember, the most brilliant poison plot is called an open strategy." Then, turning away, he replies in his mind to a secret message from the emperor of his homeland: "Your Majesty, do not worry. I have already sent back three hundred sets of the enemy nation's core technology blueprints."
