Siheyuan: A Doctor Offers Free Checkups, But Could They Cost You Your Life?

Tiezhu, a psychiatrist, transmigrates to a parallel world and returns to the 1960s, to a courtyard packed with people.

His greatest pleasure becomes messing with the courtyard's flock of pests.

The Xu family makes a racket at night while trying for a baby?

Lou Xiao'e, what's the use of making so much noise? Your man can't perform. He needs to take this! I used to be a doctor, so trust me!

Yi Zhonghai has no one to care for him in his old age?

Sure, I'm friends with the Shaolin abbot. Food and lodging included, and we'll even handle the cremation. With a shaved head, you'll save on haircuts, too! Cast off your worldly concerns and fall into eternal reincarnation!

Qin Huairu can't afford to support her big family?

No problem. The geisha houses over in the East need more staff. I can help you support your daughter. The more, the merrier! Sending the kids away will be good for your physical and mental health!

A reporter interviews the courtyard residents: "People say living in a courtyard makes you live longer, so why do you all look like you won't last much longer?"

The flock of pests: "Ever since Tiezhu arrived, our courtyard hasn't had a single peaceful day!"

Tiezhu: "How is that my fault? I'm a doctor! You're all sick, and you need treatment!"
