Siheyuan: You Set Me Up to Go to the Countryside, So I’ll Cut Off Your Way to Survive

Chen Hao transmigrates to a Beijing courtyard in 1976 and awakens a Super Mall.

Five years ago, when educated youths were sent to the countryside, the slot for a posting in the Great Northern Wilderness went to Banggeng.

Chen Hao, however, was lucky enough to be sent only to the outskirts of Beijing.

But Qin Huairu couldn't bear to part with Banggeng, so she demanded that he switch places with Chen Hao.

Chen Hao refused. Qin Huairu then had Yi Zhonghai hold a public meeting to guilt-trip him, while Silly Zhu threatened and coaxed him. In the end, Chen Hao gave in.

And so Banggeng got to lie flat in comfort on the outskirts of Beijing.

Chen Hao, meanwhile, froze to death in the bitter cold of the Great Northern Wilderness.

Now he has come back from the dead and returned to the courtyard.

Qin Huairu, you made me go to the countryside back then. Now I'll cut off your livelihood!
