Great Ming: I Defied the Imperial Decree from the Start. This Beauty Was Never My Type

My name is Zhu Zi, Prince Tan of the Great Ming.

From the start, my father Zhu Yuanzhang arranged a marriage for me, and I refused.

Because the intended bride was none other than a daughter of the Yu family, whose entire household was sentenced to execution after the Hu Weiyong case.

How is that accepting an imperial decree? That's basically accepting a death sentence!

So my cheap old dad flew into a rage, and I got my wish: I became the only prince of the Great Ming to leave for his fiefdom without getting married.

All I want is to build infrastructure, strengthen the military, and grow the economy. Then, when Zhu Yunwen starts cutting down the vassal princes, I'll take him out...

Many years later, Zhu Yuanzhang visited Changsha.

What is that? How can I see it so clearly from so far away?

Standing atop the cement city wall, Zhu Yuanzhang held a Barrett and looked through a sixteen-power scope at the golden rice plants three li away.

Zhu Yuanzhang was deeply shaken!

Zhu Zi: "Hey, don't put your finger on the trigger..."
