Great Ming: I Won't Hide It Anymore, I'm the Nine-Thousand-Year-Old Eunuch

In the second year of the Tianqi reign, Fang Zheng transmigrates as the son of the Vice Minister of Works. From the start, his father is executed in the imperial prison on the orders of the powerful eunuch Wei Zhongxian, accused of corruption.

For months, a court official who calls himself Old Li often comes to talk with Fang Zheng.

Fang Zheng makes no secret of his ambition to Old Li: he will set the world to rights, kill Wei Zhongxian, and avenge his father.

Old Li always encourages him kindly and helps him grow, time and again.

As Fang Zheng gradually comes to understand the chaos of the Tianqi court, he discovers that the supposedly upright civil officials are even more despicable than he had imagined.

He also discovers that the eunuch faction is amassing wealth on a grand scale, apparently to solve the court's shortage of silver.

Then one day, when Fang Zheng has risen to wield power over the entire court, Old Li transforms before his eyes, donning a scarlet dragon robe. He says to Fang Zheng, "Child, you've changed. You've become the treacherous minister the civil officials speak of."

"In the eyes of those supposedly upright civil officials, you're now even more terrifying than I am!"

"Now, you can kill me."

Fang Zheng: "Uncle Li, what... what do you mean?"

"My name is Li Jinzhong, the great villain you know as Wei Zhongxian!"
