Great Ming: The Hongzhi Emperor's Second Son Is Forced to Inherit the Throne

In the fifteenth year of the Hongzhi reign, Zhu Houwei transmigrated to the Ming Dynasty and became the Hongzhi Emperor's second son.

Zhu Houwei was supposed to die at the age of two, but thanks to the devoted care of his unreliable eldest brother, Crown Prince Zhu Houzhao, he miraculously survived.

Though his crown prince brother Zhu Houzhao was unreliable, he treated Zhu Houwei exceptionally well. To repay his brother for saving his life, Zhu Houwei often secretly did the crown prince's schoolwork for him.

As one memorial after another was submitted, proposing measures to pacify the Japanese, govern the people, and replace native chieftains with imperial officials,

the civil officials grew ever more pleased with the Ming Dynasty's crown prince, convinced Zhu Houzhao would one day become a wise ruler.

Until one day, Zhu Houzhao suddenly told the ministers, "Bet you didn't see that coming! I didn't write those memorials. And I'm not the wise ruler, either. It's my younger brother!"

Zhu Houzhao: "Little brother, you be the emperor. I'll serve as the Ming Dynasty's Great General Who Guards the Nation!"
