About This Novel
The protagonist, Lin Chen, was originally a student in the Department of Modern Archeology. He accidentally died while studying a mysterious "bronze key". His soul and the key fell into the world of Douluo, and he became a "waste" with half-level innate soul power and a weak body. However, this "Key to the Abyss" gave him the ability to see and connect to "traces of the world" - the folds of time and space, the faults of history, forgotten secrets, and even the trauma left by the war between gods. Clues may be found in these "traces" such as the immortal grass that others are hard to find, the lost soul guidance skills, and even the broken power of fallen gods.
