About This Novel

In the "Continent of Essos", human memory is not a void stream of consciousness, but a substance that can be extracted by the "Weaver" and woven into a physical "memory thread". Memories of different emotions correspond to threads of different materials - joy is warm golden silk, sadness is deep sea blue velvet, and fear is ice-cracked silver thread.
