The Gate of Great Rebellion

Internet articles are still strong

A practitioner can be peeped in the shower by two ordinary guys. I really don't know what kind of practice she practices!

This chapter is good. I like the character of the male protagonist. He is almost the same as me. Men should be so domineering. Great~~

It's obviously very good-looking, but if nothing else, the character setting of the single protagonist makes people's blood boil with just a few words. Because the character setting at the beginning is strong enough, the subsequent story development feels reasonable and natural. It is truly a rare masterpiece in the Shuangwen series. Why are so many people criticizing it?

A person who was once at the top level of Daxi suddenly changed his expression when he heard the name of Youguo Shenhui. Just like someone who has tens of billions and is frightened when he hears fifty thousand dollars, can he write with snacks?

In my opinion, the current mainstream readership mainly has two thinking orientations. These two thinking orientations determine whether the highlights of online articles can meet the needs of readers. One is utilitarian success thinking, and the other is scientific rational thinking. Utilitarian thinking is very simple, secular, and direct. It is nothing more than using various legal and illegal means to achieve personal success. This kind of success is also very direct and realistic. It is nothing more than the satisfaction of personal material desires, the improvement of social status, and the enrichment of social resources. This pursuit of personal success has different types according to different attitudes towards life. Those who seek to achieve their goals, do whatever it takes, and believe in the pure law of the jungle, are the so-called resource-flow immortals and underworld cultivators. Those who follow a certain moral bottom line and hope to succeed within a reasonable range are the so-called more traditional immortals that many people want to promote. Some people believe that they have enough grasp of the rules of competition in society and can earn this success by their own abilities, and it is this kind of struggle process that is aimed at readers. This kind of protagonist embodies the so-called "ambition and decisiveness". Some people don't have much confidence in relying on personal ability to succeed. They believe that in a hierarchical social background, purely personal struggle is simply a dead end, so they can only rely on various plug-ins and various grandfathers, and need extra help to compete successfully. This is the origin of the so-called golden finger. But no matter which orientation, its essence is a desire for worldly success and a utilitarian thinking. This kind of thinking permeates various literary genres, and is not only reflected in fairy tales. Xianxia novels only provide a background for this kind of thinking. For this kind of thinking, genre and background are not important. The key is to satisfy the readers' desire for success. Scientific and rational thinking is widely popular among the party members, the dead-rationalists, and even the big industrial parties. For them, the power system with clear and self-consistent logic and full of scientific rationality is itself the highlight. They don't care so much about the cool points of successful YY. Of course, they are not in trouble with these cool points, but these cool points are not the only highlights. A typical feature of this kind of thinking is that it is anti-mystical. It prefers to use a logical, rational and modern discipline model to explore the power system in the virtual world. Some representative works are dedicated to analyzing and deconstructing various power systems, rationalizing them, and even scientificizing them, making them clear and less ambiguous. During this period, they are often mixed with the tendency to use power systems to carry out large-scale industrial construction, lead the torrent of humanity and socialized large-scale production, and industrialize other worlds. This is also very popular with some people. Some readers prefer utilitarianism when it comes to YY content, but their understanding of the world is greatly affected by scientific and rational thinking. Therefore, they do not accept "irrational" upgrade content and emphasize that success must be rational. So these two kinds of thinking cannot be completely separated. Generally speaking, the above two kinds of thinking are more in line with the mainstream of the readership. The two are often intertwined. Scientific rationality often transforms into instrumental rationality to assist personal success, and the structure of the worldview is more willing to rely on a logical and rational system. In fact, these two kinds of thinking did not appear out of thin air. They exactly reflect a secular core value of modern capitalist society. It is normal for us living in such a society to have such thinking. But the key is, what's the point of a cultivation novel? For the same type of novels, different people have different pursuits. For readers influenced by the above two kinds of thinking, there is no difference between reading Xiuzhen literature and reading other types of literature. They are all stories about pursuing individual success in a world that can be interpreted rationally. Therefore, wanting to read Xiuzhen is simply because of its unique oriental aesthetic atmosphere, which fascinates some people. It may also be because the Taoist practice of immortality and supernatural powers are deeply rooted in people's hearts, and immortality and strength are undoubtedly the most amazing kind of "success." What these people essentially want to see is successful YY. I don't really care about the background of the story. Their thinking is, "You can't succeed in reality, so you want to succeed in fantasy and have fun." Some readers, however, want to see the unique spiritual pursuit involved in cultivating immortals. Whether it is freedom and detachment or the so-called chivalrous justice, they all want to obtain a kind of spiritual freedom and satisfaction in the illusory world. They believe that it is precisely because reality is too rational and utilitarian that they want to be irrational and non-utilitarian in the world of fantasy. Their thinking is, "If you cannot succeed in reality, you must create a world in fantasy where success is not necessary." The above two divisions are based on utilitarianism. From a rationalist perspective, the essay on cultivating immortals can be regarded as having another aspect. I once wrote that cultivation is a spiritual pursuit. However, modern scientific rational thinking and Eastern classical metaphysical mind-nature thinking are actually two very different ways of thinking, although both can be regarded as a kind of spiritual pursuit. Some readers like resource flow and despise Xinxing flow. The reason is that they cannot understand and accept metaphysical thinking. But this kind of thinking itself is what other readers strive to pursue. They even think that if this kind of thinking is not used, it is not considered true cultivation. The cultivation they want to see is to use classic metaphysical thinking and beautiful metaphysical language to practice and seek truth. This unique thinking and feeling is what they think is the key point. It is precisely because of the opposition in thinking and the difference in viewpoints that leads to the opposition between the reader groups. They seem to want to read the same type of literature, but in fact they want to read fundamentally different things. It's just because they have different understandings of the genre. As a result, when they see works that satisfy another type of readers, they feel deceived and angrily accuse the genre of deviating from a reasonable track. This is the reason for all the quarrels online. I think that maybe this genre needs to be further classified, targeting different groups of readers, and clearly showing its highlights, so that readers will not feel cheated. Above.
