Tales of the Strange in Southern Shandong: The Yin Family Funeral Parlor

On the banks of the Yi River, an old shop opens its doors.

Yin Budu, a yin-yang master, runs the Yin family's funeral shop. He knows talismans and understands the art of calming restless souls.

His partner, Old Liu, is a retired soldier who makes a living castrating pigs. He has an ironclad courage and fears neither ghosts nor evil spirits.

Strange happenings plague the countryside of southern Shandong: weeping shadows in the dead of night, sinister forces in old houses, and eerie tales from deserted roads all come knocking.

They do not punish benevolent spirits bearing grudges, but guide the lost to peace. Watch as the two travel between the realms of yin and yang, uncovering one mysterious tale after another hidden in the countryside.
