I Find You Amid the Fireworks

In 2018, a fire broke out, and rookie firefighter Shen Chuan rescued Lin Lan from the flames. She remembered only a string of digits, but carried the memory in her heart for eight years.

Eight years later, she was an Asian film queen, dazzling on the red carpet. A chance encounter at an intersection finally reunited her with the man she'd never forgotten, the one who had saved her life.

But Shen Chuan was now the station chief at Xingfu Li Fire Station.

Haunted by the loss of a fellow firefighter, Shen Chuan devoted himself entirely to rescue work. Having seen life and death too often, he didn't dare to fall in love, convinced he couldn't offer anyone a secure future.

Lin Lan launched a full-throttle pursuit, bringing him milk tea and roses, signing up for a documentary show about firefighters, and moving across the street from the fire station. She made no secret of her efforts to get closer to him.

When an explosion rocked a fire scene, she braved the danger and rushed into the thick smoke. In the storm of public opinion, malicious rivals schemed in the shadows to smear them and destroy their lives. At rescue scenes, they faced flames and sacrifice again and again.

She ran the first ninety-nine steps without hesitation. At last, Shen Chuan, frozen for years, let go of the shackles around his heart and took the final step toward her.

He wears the flame-blue uniform, protecting the homes and hearths of countless families. She leaves behind the spotlight to become the place he can always return to. Amid the warmth of everyday life, I found you.
