P.S. My new novel, The Witch: I Can Absorb All Things, is now available. Readers are welcome to check it out.
Zhang Zhenming buys an evil god statue at an antique shop and is struck by misfortune: he transmigrates into the body of a witch named Allison in another world.
His starting point in the newbie village is a bad one. The knight lord is a heartless brute who, at a priest’s word, threw all the village women into the river.
Things are no better beyond the village. The lords are at war, and the people suffer. Today, the town gets a Venetian duke; tomorrow, it might belong to the Nikola family.
His own situation is grim, too. The mages, witches, puppeteers, and evil gods he faces are each more formidable than the last.
Riding a black goat with eight eyes and sixteen tails, the witch leaves the corpse-strewn town, stretches an arm covered in unspeakable patterns into the void, and draws a card.
P.S. Zhang Zhenming transmigrates to another world. There’s no romance or flirting, just fighting monsters and leveling up, with a Lovecraftian medieval vibe. As a follower of an evil god, he won’t even be considered human anymore...
I already included this in the first blurb, but a reader was right to remind me, so here’s another reminder... If I change it, I’ll need to get the earlier readers’ approval...
P.S. This is a standalone story. If that’s not your thing, don’t read it.
