Alluring Love

The first time.

“Don't be afraid, sir. I'm only here to rob you.” Her bright eyes sparkled, and her voice was soft.

“Why don't you try?” The man's cold eyes narrowed. When he spoke, his voice shook heaven and earth. All creation fell silent. No one dared disobey him.

“Sure, I'd love to.” She smiled sweetly, apparently not intimidated at all. She agreed so readily. He was the one who told her to rob him, wasn't he?

Then he flew into a rage. Mountains shook, seas surged, the sky collapsed, and the earth split apart. She'd robbed him and still thought she could escape? The whole world belonged to him. He'd like to see where she could possibly run.

The second time.

“Robbing me again?” The man narrowed his eyes as he looked at her, his expression unreadable and his smile inscrutable.

At last, she had shown up. This time, he wanted to see where she could run.

“Of course, of course.” Her bright eyes sparkled, and she smiled lightly, utterly unruffled.

But looking at the foxlike man smiling in front of her, she knew it would be hard to get away today. He had obviously come to settle the score.

The third time, the fourth time, the fifth time...

One thrilling showdown after another. Who wins and who loses is all down to skill!

In public, she's a sickly young lady who looks ready to faint at the slightest breeze: timid, useless, and plain. They say she won't live to see eighteen.

In private, she's a dashing heroine, chivalrous and brave, who stands up for the innocent, robs the rich to help the poor, and wins everyone's heart.

Life couldn't be sweeter.

But ever since she met him, why has everything changed?
