Alluring Love

The first time.

“Don’t be afraid, sir. I’m only robbing you for your money.” Her bright eyes sparkled, and her voice was soft.

“Why don’t you try robbing me, then?” The man narrowed his icy eyes. His voice rang out like thunder, and all things fell silent. No one dared disobey him.

“Sure, sounds good.” She smiled sweetly, seemingly not frightened by him at all. She agreed so readily. He was the one who told her to rob him, wasn’t he?

Then he flew into a rage. The mountains shook, the seas surged, the heavens collapsed, and the earth split apart. She had robbed him and still thought she could escape? The whole world belonged to him. He wanted to see just how far she could run.

“Robbing me for money again?” The man narrowed his eyes at her, his expression inscrutable, a faint smile on his face.

She had finally shown up. This time, he would see just how far she could run.

“Of course, of course.” Her bright eyes sparkled as she smiled, calm and carefree.

But looking at the foxlike smile on the man before her, she knew it would be hard to get away today. He had clearly come to settle the score with her.

The third time, the fourth time, the fifth time...

One thrilling battle after another unfolded. Who wins or loses is all down to skill!

In public, she was a frail young lady who looked ready to topple in a breeze: timid, weak-willed, neither talented nor beautiful. They said she wouldn’t live past eighteen.

In private, she was a dashing heroine, chivalrous and righteous, always helping those in need, robbing the rich to help the poor, and beloved by everyone.

She was living the good life.

But ever since she met him, why had everything changed?
