In a small border town of the Great Chu Empire, there is a mysterious little shop called the Magical Bookshop.
It opens at nine every morning and closes at five in the evening, keeping regular office hours. It's closed on weekends, and even takes holidays for festivals.
The books in the shop are for reading only, not for sale, and may not be taken outside. Reading fees are charged by the hour, and payment is made in spirit crystals rather than gold coins.
And yet, in this very bookshop, some people have gained cultivation, some have acquired cultivation techniques and martial skills, some have found rare treasures and exotic beasts, and some have even discovered the path to immortality!
