Even saviors come in different grades.
Second-rate saviors are inefficient. A single act of salvation can take years or even decades, leaving countless people to suffer, and in the end they might not even save the world.
Third-rate saviors spend their whole lives manipulated by schemers, ignorant and played like puppets in someone else’s hands.
Fourth-rate saviors pay an enormous price to save the world. They endure all kinds of hardships, including losing a spouse, becoming disabled, and seeing friends sacrifice themselves, only to end up with a worthless title or even just an epitaph.
“These saviors have it too rough. I don’t want to be one of them. I want to be a first-rate savior!”
“You’re asking what a first-rate savior is?”
“Saving the world at light speed!”
“No casualties!”
“Making a fortune!”
“Use the sword of today to slay the future that’s just around the corner. Nip the apocalypse in the bud, act entirely on your own terms, and then collect the reward you deserve!”
“That’s what makes a first-rate savior!”
