The Beloved, Unruly Princess Consort

[A pampered little fox princess and a proud, wolfish prince]

Lu Wanlan transmigrates into the Great Zhou Dynasty with nothing to her name.

Except for six powerful brothers who dote on their little sister without limit.

If she wants something, they'll move heaven and earth to get it for her.

But what she wants is Xiao Yanzhi's heart, and that's a tricky one.

Xiao Yanzhi has been reborn and wants nothing more to do with the Lu family.

He'd rather fake an illness or even pretend to die than marry Lu Wanlan, the most fearsome woman in the land.

But on their wedding day, she arrives in mourning clothes, carrying a coffin, and says she's there to see him off and remain a widow!

Xiao Yanzhi sits bolt upright in his “sickbed”: This woman really won't leave me alone!

Eldest Brother: Prince, our little sister is so delicate she can't even look after herself. Please take good care of her.

Second Brother: I've prepared a few handsome attendants to go with you to the prince's manor and serve at your side.

Third Brother: You can't be too reckless when wooing your husband. I'll write a love poem for your brother-in-law.

Fourth Brother: Bah! If you want to win a man's heart, win his stomach. We'll send our cook to you tomorrow.

Fifth Brother: But it's not right to keep putting off consummating the marriage. I've prepared some secret palace medicine for you.

Sixth Brother: The Lu family won the Xiao family's empire for them. That man's got some nerve! Divorce him, and your big brother will take care of you!

Lu Wanlan: If you want to tame a husband, you'd better have your whip handy!

Xiao Yanzhi: The road to heaven is right there, but you refuse to take it. Since you've come right to my door, I'll gladly accept.

Lu Wanlan is increasingly convinced that Xiao Yanzhi, who used to seem like such a sickly, possessive man, has recently been looking at her like a ravenous wolf.

Lu Wanlan: Your Highness, I-I want to go home.

Xiao Yanzhi: What do you think Prince Yan's Manor is? You can't come and go as you please.
