After Ten Years in Hiding, She Avenge's Her Mother's Death and Claims the Empress's Throne

She was born into a family of scholars, with a comfortable life free of worries. Then, when she was five, everything changed. To rise in rank, her worthless father married a woman from a powerful family and colluded with bandits to murder his wife and daughter, climbing higher and higher over their corpses. Unfortunately for him, she survived. Now it's your turn. Young and frail, Shen Yanshu stands at the palace gates, covered in scars, and makes a silent vow. If this world cannot stop powerful families from doing evil, then she'll find somewhere that can. If you can't kill me, I'll send every last one of you to hell. From this day on, everyone who owes me and my mother will pay it all back to me!
