Firefighting Hero

On July 28, 1976, a magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Tangshan, China. On May 12, 2008, China’s Wenchuan region suffered the largest earthquake since the founding of the People’s Republic. On August 12, an explosion rocked the Binhai New Area of Tianjin. On August 30, a once-in-five-hundred-years flood hit Houston, Texas. On December 7, a massive wildfire broke out in California... Whether it’s an earthquake, a fire, or a flood, whether it’s a natural disaster or a man-made catastrophe, we always see a special group of people rushing toward danger.

They support one another with their strong shoulders, heading into disaster to fight it. Though young, they carry the heavy burden of saving the world. They aren’t superheroes, but united by the same belief, they become real-life heroes!
