Zhu Yuanzhang of the Great Ming: This Death Row Inmate Is a Future Power Broker

Just after arriving in the Ming Dynasty, Ye Chen faces a deadly choice: become Zhu Yuanzhang’s appointed chief minister and guardian of the heir, or be condemned to death by Zhu Yuanzhang and sent back to modern times!

He decisively chooses the latter. In just three years, he embezzles a fortune, then tears into Zhu Yuanzhang four times in open court, waiting for a swift execution.

What he doesn’t know is that Zhu Yuanzhang has just obtained a “future browser” and seen himself begging Ye Chen to become a powerful minister in the future.

Looking at Ye Chen’s face, which matches the one he saw in the future, Zhu Yuanzhang is stunned. “Do I kill him, or keep him?”

Meanwhile, Empress Ma has the same golden finger and is quietly observing everything.

Staring at the imperial edict he’s just received, Ye Chen falls into thought. “Did I mess up my plan to get myself killed?”
