Heaven-Mandated Soul Master

I was born a walking calamity, bringing misery to my parents. To raise me, Grandpa found a woman of Heavenly Yang to fuse our souls and form a ghost pact. She could protect me as I survived my tribulations. In return, I became her dedicated soul nourisher. From then on, we would rise and fall together. Grandpa said I was destined to face calamity, and that I would inevitably endure three disasters and nine tribulations. After that, I was forced to embark on the path of cultivation and enter the bizarre world of the mystic arts.
